A major issue for all councils is the recruitment and retention
of quality staff who are technically expert and have the
community at the forefront of everything they do. This is one of
the challenges for the Human Resources Group which meets
quarterly to develop stategies to assist recruitment and retention
of staff, and share training opportunities across the region.
The Group is made up of HR Managers and Training Officers.
