Two plans were prepared in 2000 for External Noise
Insulation Requirements for Multi Unit Residential Housing
against Road and Rail Noise. Version A is triggered through a
geographical mechanism based on the development sites frontage to a
main road, or if the property is located within 100 metres of the
boundary of a land corridor accommodating a rail line. Version B is
triggered through an initial assessment of facade noise levels.
