All Councils follow processes to assess development
applications. The new legislation has affected what is processed
and how, and applies the same criteria to all Councils.
This project was intended to identify the changes to
the legislation that have an impact on processing, define good
practice, map current development assessment processes, develop the
tools for regional consistency and develop and put in place
relevant training and development for the Region.
The project is currently on hold.
