Councils are required to operate under the General Disposal
Authority 10 (GDA-10) in relation to storage and disposal of
records. The GDA-10 is developed by State Records, and to make it
more meaningful and effective, requires local government input.
This project is providing that input by reviewing the GDA-10 under
the auspices of State Records.
This project has now been completed and handed on to State
Records.
