The New South Wales Government is implementing a substantial
policy initiative to enshrine long term strategic corporate
planning and integrated reporting into Councils' routine processes.
Councils will find the extent of the policies, the depth of
reporting and the implementation timeframes a substantial
challenge.
This project will evaluate the scope of the Government's
policies, understand Councils' current positions and produce a
readiness assessment of Councils. If deemed appropriate and viable,
options for further activity will be developed.
