Councils spend a great deal on telecommunications' services and
delivery, and across the region, deal with different suppliers and
use different software. This project will result in the development
of a best practice contract for the supply of telecommunications
services to the region. Benefits will include cost savings to
Councils, access to broadband being passed on to the community and
standardising systems across Councils.
